Hello! Thank you so much for stopping by, here is a little bit about me and the charities we love to support.
I'm a busy working mummy to two beautiful, stubborn, confident, sleep stealing boys.
I live in Sheffield with my husband and two children and all the garments are personally embroidered or printed in Sheffield.
The first ever tee was embroidered as a gift for my friend who was about to have a medical operation, It simply said STRONG.
I then embroidered myself a tee with the word OUTNUMBERED on it. I love this slogan, it describes me perfectly.
My Friend and I wore our tee's with pride and we both had so many positive comments on them that I decided to make some to sell and to raise a bit of money for a local charity at the same time.
And here we are now, the collection is now far bigger and better than I ever imagined and I'm so proud of the clothes and the amount of money I've already raised for some fantastic charities.
The charities supported by our clothing have all been hand picked because of the personal link I have to them and I'm so grateful to you all for helping me support them and wearing your clothes with pride.
Here is a bit of background information on the charities and why we support them:
Before having children, and for a while in between the two boys, I trained and worked as a Youth worker. The work that goes on in youth clubs is so important and so under acknowledged. All the funding for youth clubs has been removed over the past few years and so they all now rely on charity funding and grants etc.
Youth clubs are so important in getting young people off the streets and into safe, supportive environments where they can build confidence, learn skills and gain experiences without having to face financial barriers. For this reason the OUTNUMBERED range is supporting Boys and Girls Clubs South Yorkshire - BGCSY
'BGCSY provide and support Youth clubs in Sheffield and the surrounding areas, many of whom are in disadvantaged and inner city areas'
My youngest, cheekiest and most challenging child was born premature at 36 weeks after a problematic pregnancy. He had to go straight to NICU and spent the first 10 days of his life in there. The team at Jessops hospital were absolutely amazing with the care of myself and Albie. The nurses on the NICU ward become like family and the support they give is so important.
Sheffield Hospitals Charity raise money for The Jessops Wing, Royal Hallamshire hospital, Northern General Hospital and Weston Park Hospital.
Throughout my pregnancy with Albie I was very anxious and as the complications continued arising, my anxiety levels continued to get worse.
Being discharged from hospital after having a baby, but having to leave your baby in the hospital without you is just the worst. As you can imagine my anxiety and depression levels continued to get worse. I really struggled to get help with this and found my Doctors surgery useless (I have now changed surgeries!) I wish I had known about PANDAS at the time because I honestly believe I would have received help so much sooner.
PANDAS foundation: Our aim is to be the UK's most recognised and trusted support service for families suffering prenatal/antenatal and postnatal illness.
I am incredibly lucky to be surrounded by 5 very strong, independent, supportive women. My mum, my nan and my 3 best friends. Out of these 5 women 2 of them have been treated at Weston Park Cancer hospital and they still remain patients there receiving regular routine checks and scans.
The STRONG and the SUPER WOMAN range are both in celebration of these 5 women and all the other amazing women out there.
'Weston Park is the regions only specialist cancer charity.'
'A better life for people living with and beyond cancer'
